The location was the only value here. One-week trip was booked and skipped one day that was still paid and had been noticed before. However, when I came and checked in, the receptionist said it hadn't been ?? Then I had to change clothes in a tiny toilet at the ground floor. After 15 mins, the room was ready, but my mood was gone. Suddenly, the receptionist asked me several times what time I would have breakfast without any explanation... I did not answer and went to my room.
I won't recommend this hotel. Cheers.
This was my second time at the hotel and enjoyed my stay both times.
A great value three star hotel with an exceptional/above average experience for its hotel star rating. Right across from the main Torino train station (Porta Nuova) and inside the rectangular area considered the centre and old town section of the city, making everything within the old city walking distance.
The room and en suite bathroom I was in (single) was on the average to low size for a three star hotel but everything was in order and the bed was comfortable with two pillows provided (which is a really nice extra for me).
Breakfast is a standard continental style with an Italian touch of an added selection of sweet options. Variety was slightly above average and the quality was nice.
Service was great. With all staff always ready with a smile and greeting.
A clean nice hotel with lovely staff but terribly small toilet and bathroom!
I'm not tall and I could not sit down, no room for my legs
It's ok hotel nice breakfast, had some isseue with AC not working(due to temp outside below 26, as I was told by reception) AC issue was fixed after couple of days probably due to complaints. Something to note, room have no safe, mini fridge nor electric cattle.
Really quick easy access into the centre on foot. Hotel room was spacious and clean. Better described as a B&B though. There is no bar/restaurant on site &no fridge/kettle etc in rooms, so no access to food/drink beyond breakfast (which was amazing!) Don't recommend for children due to the stairs/ancient lift &no outside or play spaces (apart from smoking area courtyard). Some reception staff very friendly & so helpful, others much less so, as anywhere.
Not bad for the price. It has an ancient elevator (fascinating open-air cage with wrought iron designs) that could effortlessly amputate an arm if not kept tight to your side. The rooms are old-fashioned and have high ceilings. The bed was fairly comfortable.
The business center is in a comfy little room off the lobby. Only problem is, an old man was on for a long, long, time so I couldn't even use the computer.
We were at this hotel for a weekend in December and our short stay was very pleasant. The hotel is a 1 minute walk from Porta Nuova and check in and check out process were very quick. You get a 30minute slot for breakfast to avoid overcrowding due to covid and we found more sweet items than savoury ones but this suited us just fine. Our room was on the first floor so we didn't need to use the lift and although the room was quite basic, we didn't need any luxury so it was perfect for the price. Staff were always polite everytime we entered or left the hotel and we were within walking distance to Carrefour, restaurants and many attractions in Turin. We definitely wouldn't mind staying here again-Grazie!
Slow check in. No heating. Super small bathroom.
Super location. Very good service and breakfast.
